The RULER model for emotional intelligence looks at RECOGNISING, UNDERSTANDING, LABELLING, EXPRESSING, and REGULATING emotions. During this webinar, Rachel will share her experience of using this model for her own mental well-being as well as introduce this model to her students both in the classroom and during PE lessons. Rachel Ford has found this model useful for improving her own emotional intelligence and her teaching practice. She has also found that although introducing this to students has been a journey, there are short and long-term benefits for students.
